What to expect in the interview
Online Assessment (OA)
2 coding problems (70 min) + Work Style Assessment (Leadership Principles questionnaire). LeetCode Medium-Hard level.
Phone Screen
1 DSA problem + Leadership Principles behavioral questions. 45-60 minutes. Amazon LOVES the STAR method for behavioral.
Onsite Loop (4-5 rounds)
2-3 Coding (DSA), 1 System Design (SDE-2+), 1 Bar Raiser (behavioral + LP deep dive). Each round tests Leadership Principles.
Bar Raiser Decision
Amazon's unique "Bar Raiser" is an independent interviewer who ensures hiring bar stays high. They can veto a hire.
