Preparation Roadmap

Follow these steps to prepare systematically

1
Week 1-4

Solidify RMO-Level Skills

Ensure you can comfortably solve RMO problems. INMO is significantly harder — strong foundations are essential.

2
Week 4-12

Advanced Problem Solving

Study from "Functional Equations" by BJ Venkatachala, "Inequalities" by Manfrino, advanced combinatorics and geometry.

3
Week 10-18

Solve International Olympiad Problems

Practice problems from ISI, CMI entrance, Balkan MO, APMO, and easier IMO problems (P1, P4).

4
Week 14-20

Master Proof Techniques

Contradiction, induction, extremal principle, invariants, coloring arguments. Every INMO problem needs a rigorous proof.

5
Week 18-22

Full Mock INMO Tests

Take 4-hour mock tests with past INMO papers. Get your proofs reviewed by mentors or seniors.
