Preparation Roadmap
Follow these steps to prepare systematically

Week 1
Know the Streams
SA (Class 11), SX (Class 12), SB (1st year BSc). Each has different syllabus depth. Pick your stream.

Week 2-8
Strengthen Fundamentals
KVPY tests conceptual understanding. Master NCERT + reference books for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology.

Week 6-12
Practice Application-Based Questions
KVPY questions are tricky and application-based. Solve previous year KVPY papers and IIT-level conceptual problems.

Week 10-14
Take Mock Tests
Simulate exam conditions. 3 hours, 4 subjects. Practice time allocation — don't spend too long on one section.

Week 14-16
Prepare for Interview
Shortlisted candidates face an interview at IISc. Brush up on basics, be ready to explain your thought process.
