What to expect in the interview
Resume Screening + Recruiter Call
Apply online or get referral. Recruiter screens resume, 15-min call to discuss background and role fit.
Phone Screen (1-2 rounds)
Live coding on Google Docs. 1-2 medium-hard DSA problems. 45 minutes each. Must code clean, working solution.
Onsite (4-5 rounds)
3 Coding rounds (DSA), 1 System Design (L4+), 1 Googleyness & Leadership (behavioral). Full day virtual/onsite.
Hiring Committee Review
Unlike most companies, Google has a hiring committee that reviews all interview feedback. No single interviewer decides.
